Creative Fusion is baaaaack. The sale is over but Better Together is in my store.

Yep, this was fun. There's lots of beautiful tiny collections and they're 25% off while the initial sale lasts. We did this before, way back in 2010, when the theme was "fairy tales" and I did the story book castle and inside the castle.  I should do more tiny kits. This time again the designers were given a theme and a color palette so it would be easy to mix and match and a limit of 3 kits, so none of us could swamp the system.  There was a deadline too, which made it scary. The theme is Better Together and I chose honey bees, cus I love honey bees. Plus they're swarming all over my blossoms this spring and have been totally sweet whenever I've been in there with them.

Summer's here and look - I'm famous!!

Cool breezes swooping in from the lake, wildflowers, wild music, dancing - summer has tiptoed her way into our high country and I think she's here to stay.   Yay!! This picture came out this week in The Star News of Tim and I kicking up our heels.
In the meantime, in between the celebrating, I have been working on the Creative Fusion project at SBG. The deadline is coming up quick and I think everyone's Creative Fusion kits will be in the store sometime around June 20.  These kits are teeny tiny. I’m putting together a little Bee Tea Shoppe reminiscent of Baby Bee Garden.  Here's  a rough-up of Baxter Bee who I'm working on tonight.

This sale is over. Thank you all so much!!!! That should keep you all busy for a while.

Yep. 40% off everything by everyone.  We decided to celebrate INSD in a big, big. big way this year. Soooooo every Studio Girl is discounting all her designs the same hugantious 40%.  But now let me tell you about the big but.  BUT we're also giving away gifts every day (all the designers created something for this)  with every purchase over $10. Here's what I think: If you've been waiting for a big, big, big sale to stock up on your favorite designers' goodies to create treasure troves of wonderful masterpieces this summer - this will be a wonderful week.

Here's some layouts I found in the SBG gallery from  some of my first kits.  They're all 40% off if you want to stock up on some early works from the Olden Days.

They'll be back.....

Here's me searching in the woods for the first morel mushrooms to be popping their little heads up through the forest floor.
Though I did not run into any morels I did discover, in a sheltered cove above Hazard Creek, this little arrangement that looked suspiciously like a faerie concert seating section  -

- which was facing these odd little critters who were ever so slightly swaying back and forth in the breeze.

.......peculiar, neh?

Tender Wings & Paisley Things is in my store

Paisley's kit was a lot of fun to make since many of the images were cut out from paper. (That made for good shadows too.)  It feels good working directly with paper sometimes. Not that I don't love my Wacom.
Maya has a Periscope session showing how she used Tender Wings to make very radical planner pages. If you do planners you should check it out.  https://ktch.tv/7zk8

Here are artworks from my fabulously wonderful happily ingenious creative team.

Tender Wings and Paisley Things

Hey everybody, I am happy as can be introducing you to Paisley, the fairy who I named my new kit after. As you may know when North American quilt makers originally came upon the paisley design they called it Persian Pickle. I tried this name on this fairy and she sulked for weeks, so forget I mentioned it.
My illustrious and ingenious creative team has Paisley's kit as I write this. And you should be able to get it from my store sometime after Tuesday night.  Just wanting to keep you updated as I've been out of the loop a little lately - but glad to be back.

The sale is over - Thank You All Soooo Very Much - Gitsy is still there but now she costs $3.50

This little mousie mini-kit is a thank-you gift when you purchase anything at my End of the Year Sale. (You have to log in before ordering and click "view cart" at checkout to get it for free. Otherwise, if you don't get it, I'll send it to you.) She is Gitsy,a little mouse who gets books from the library in the Winterwood which, coincidentally, is the name of the next SBG collab - created lovingly by Peggy (NLD), Laura (Priss) and me from a true story told to Peggy by the actual book-loving Gitsy.

It's Monday!

It's Monday and Darrie Thistledown is ready to get to work. So I built her the "Swift and Steady Dragonfly Post" where she will now be the most illustrious postmistress.  She has everything I think she'll need, though I am working on a couple of her customers this week. You'll get a post when she's ready and you can visit.

Growing With Love is in Studio Lorie now

Growing With Love is a bit of Mexican-Day-of-the-Dead-minus-the-skeletons happy journaling creation, jam-packed with singing flowers, tattoo-worthy glowing hearts, psychedelic floaty things, exploding love-bursts, and origami objets d’art. Many of the images were, in fact, plumpoodled out into 3D paper sculptures, then photographed, and digitized.

This kit is dedicated to my dear friend Janet Springer. She was a romantic Bohemian, master gardener, who loved this sort of art and her memory inspired me throughout the creation of Growing With Love.

Here are some of my favorite art wonders from my wonderful Creative Team using Growing With Love
